Q) Does the ((LAS)) create more action on your lures?
A) Yes; this system does create more action, this is achieved by the spool becoming offset to the winding axis or in effect becoming a cam that gives lift and fall. This translates through the fishing line to the lure giving quick darting motion that imitates the movements of panicking baitfish.

Q) Does increased lure action attract more fish?
A) Increased lure action is one of the keys to catching more fish.
Fish see and feel differently to us, they see 50 frames a second and feel minute sonic / pressure changes through their inbuilt sonar ( capillary chambers around the jaw and bones of the head ) These senses trigger primal attack responses when the fish senses heightened erratic action that usually means an easy meal such as an injured or panicking prey.

Q) What happens when you catch a fish?
A) When you catch a fish the unique ((LAS)) simply returns to a central position, you then play the fish taking advantage of our new super smooth clutch technology. Because the spool return and the drag are controlled by one adjustable tension spring the system is always easy to use and very simple to adjust.

Q) Can I adjust the spool to any position?
A) Yes the ((LAS)) is the only spool system that gives you the choice of how much action you want to give your lure. The degree indicator on the side of the spool lets you tailor the action to suit the lure you choose!
You can have big tail action with more offset or just the slightest shimmering motion on a feathered lure that has no natural action. Its your choice!

Q) So can I use this reel for trolling?
A) Versatility is the key to this reel. You can use it as a conventional reel at any time for trolling or for a lure that already has a specific action, When you need more action a quick flick of the fingers and it is a new reel.
